Mind Your Body, I'll Mind Mine

This is no laughing matter actually.

Not really the kind of 'matter' we learn in science which is basically anything that takes up space and have mass.
If this 'matter' did actually exist, why is there still space?
How could there be the total eclipse of the moon on the 20th of Feb 2008?
Why are there such intense international debate on whether the United States should shoot down a 'dead' satellite?
Here, I am not talking about the United States of matter, be it solid, liquid or a gas.
Anything above is rendered irrelevant by me, and so is anything after this.

As I try to imitate the reporting style of The Old Paper, i'm refering to a teen who was from a junior college at Dover Road :
There was nothing wrong with him, nothing unusual to me at least. He 'exercised obsessively, making a religion of his daily run and spending hours in the gym'.
Nothing new.
Besides, if I were in the same junior college I would have met him there anyway.

The problem here is that this kid 'thought [ he] was healthy' and 'would look at something and think, ' Can i see someone who looks good eating it?''
All because he 'wanted to look good and have that buff look'.

Damn, ABSolutely disturbing.
He was one who suffered from eating disorder, literally.
This is the world we're living in.
The slightest slip, the smallest hint of possible weight gain or a slack in perfect body tone is grist for the gossip bitch mill.
Unless society suddenly decides to give up glorifying reed-thin glamazons, this is not going to change anytime soon.
Britney new body will continue to hog the headlines of tabloids, and so will Mary-Kate Olsen, who reinforces the notion that one must be thin to be beautiful.
*now play the tune, Mika's - Big Girl You are Beautiful
Such mindsets will only result in putting intense pressure on teenagers to look good, to look 'prime' for the matter as a way of maintaining their so-called 'self-worth', if there is any left.
What i'm trying to say is that,

!!!

Be Disturbed.

Even telecoms are in the game.

Yeah, do it now.
